Crested gecko (Rhacodactylus ciliatus)

Crested geckos are native to Southern Grand Terre, New Caledonia and atleast one of the surrounding island (Isle of Pines). They are semi-arboreal lizard, spending most of their time in small trees with lots of hiding places. Crested geckos feed on both insects and fruit. I keep them in room temperature and high humidity. They are one of the most easily kept lizards and in captivity they feed on Crested gecko diet wich is a fruitpowder that you mix with water. They range in size from 15-25cm.
